'Wake Up'

Insecure 'Utopians' have completely overreached their idea of correcting systemic exclusion, and 'muddied the waters' by excluding majority groups, while prioritizing identity over merit. This stems from a 'Utopians' personal insecurity and existential fear of been labeled a 'bad' person. It also fuels a compulsive need not just to be good (in their eyes), but to be seen as good by others. This can all lead to a masking of authoritarian tendencies under the guise of moral clarity, tribalism and cancel culture, free speech then becomes eroded. They have an obsession to be seen as 'good' rather than doing what is right.

My 'Wake Up' art piece is a direct response to 'Wokeness' and how we as humans often 'overreach' in our endeavors to correct the 'woes' of the past.

But you elected a god, did you not?

'But You Elected a God, Did You Not?' confronts the modern erosion of democratic values through a dystopian sci-fi lens. Two astronauts—symbolic emissaries from a free, democratic civilization, traveling the universe—set foot upon a multiverse parody of Earth, a dystopian planet, occupied only by clowns (none human). The skyline is dominated by an oppressive industrial tower — a colossal generator fueling a massive, perpetual circus. This tower ,run by “circus masters”—the world leaders who must keep the machine going, feeding the circus no matter what the cost.

These two pieces serve as a direct response to the erosion of democratic values in our society today. "You Elected a God, Did You Not?" is not just a vision of what could be—it’s a grim mirror of what already is.

'A Privileged View'

My Assemblage art piece 'A Privileged View' is based on the 'privileged' in society, especially economic or socially privileged, who can be out of touch with how policies, social integration, decisions, or cultural shifts affect working-class communities. In the current climate the main stream media and the privileged need to listen to the voice of the working classes rather than just resorting to labels or stereotypes.
